The story of Yuzuki Yamamoto - Dragon Sword
The story of the famous samurai Yuzuki Yamamoto (dragon sword) began with his birth in the year 1482. He was a very loyal child to his parents and learned the bushido code at a very young age. Yuzuki mastered the art of sword fighting using his katana sword crafted by the best blacksmith in the land before he knew how read and write. Yuzuki lived in the land of Oda under the control of the famous daimyo commander Oda Nobonaga. When Yuzuki was 21 he was named the Taisho ( the lead warrior) in the Oda national samurai army. He fought and won many wars and killed many other samurai from clans all over japan he led an army of 50,000 and earned the respect of all the other samurai and peasants in the land. One day the Oda clan leader Nobunaga declared war on the daimyo of Tozawa clan Miori Yoshidante. Yuzuki and his army was called in to take the flank and fight the defending army his warriors fought for a painful 15 days and lots of his men were killed. yuzuki himself was injured but fought on and led his army to victory. yuzuki ordered the warriors to raid the village and loot all the gold and rice deposits in the town hall. The victory of the battle increased the Oda clans power significantly. However, the allies of the Tozawa clan were angry at the Oda clan and set out to take their revenge destroying an Oda army outpost. The allies of the Oda clan then retaliated causing a major war to break out in Japan. The following 1000 years was plagued with war. Yuzuki fought many battles losing 70% of his loved army warriors when the final war of the senguku period came……. That changed everything…
Oda nobunaga feared the destruction of his clan so he combined his territory with that of the famous leader Tokogawa Ieyasu, they combined armies and exchanged intelligence. The surplus of warriors that hideyoshi possessed allowed Yuzuki to replenished his once mighty army. However, the replenishment of his army wouldn’t last long when the clan leaders called in Yuzuki to fight the biggest war the Oda people have ever seen since the dawn of time…. It was a cold winters morning at the dawn of October 21 in the year 1600. Yuzuki commanded an army of 74,000 against the 80,000 strong army of Toyitomi Hideyori. The battle was intense both sides suffered major losses however good strategic moves from Yuzuki saw the Oda clan gain the upper hand and eventually take out most of the defending troops and take out the battle. The Oda nobunaga and toyitomi Hideyori now controlled the whole of japan. However, one military advisor named Tokogawa Ieyasu had other plans for a united Japan…
